Last night Michael asked me the question "which came first: man, the belief in God, or religion?". I think it was supposed to be one of those thought prevoking rhetorical questions, but the answer seemed rather simple to me. I will now share my answer, and I would love to hear your answer too.
I said that man came first, then the belief in God, and finally religion. When man was created, there was no belief in God, they knew there was a God, no question about it. I don't believe I have parents, I know I have parents. I think that's the way it was when the world began. The belief in God came second because man started to sin. People started to doubt that there was a God because they had free will. They could go against God, which probably made them doubt that there was a God. From beliefs stems religion. People tend to prefer to be around like minded people.
oh well, that's my explanation. It sounded better in my head. I should've written more, but I think I'm getting a cold.

Egads!!! This "updating-on-a-regular-basis" thing is so much harder than I thought. Anyways, I thought I'd fill in my many many fans on my activities that I did on Tuesday, October 14, 2003. The day started early, around 7. I clensed myself and skipped off to class. I had a delightful rice krispi treat and apple juice for breakfast, if I keep eating that heathily my teeth with be rotted by the end of the year!!!! French was weird as usual. We watch a concert of France's version of Elvis. He sang a song about Tennessee, "quelque chose de Tennessee". It was a catchy little ditty, and upon retering to chez moi, I order one of his cds. I preceeded to take a five hour nap. It was very nice. I had planned on going to worchip at the Wesley, but someone forgot, and I spent the time looking through a cookbook. Oh yeah, I've decided to try cooking. I made a menu for the next week. It made me realize how much I don't eat, and how I lack the desire to cook from scratch. My first major cooking masterpiece with be chocolate cheesecake. I will be baking it on Sunday after I get back from Memphis. Tomorrow night I will be making speghetti. I watched newlyweds. That Jessica Simpson is one smart cookie. I am truely happy that she got the Louis Vutton accessories to match her darn hand bag. Life is now perfect. Michael and I watched some tv and then played chess. I actually won a game!!!! Michael notcied something about the sink and decided to fix it. While he was being mr handyman, he noticed how the pipes are too short and that they leak. I heart my apartment!!!!! After watching him fix things and me eating almost anything I could get my hands on, I went to sleep. . . .what a wild Tuesday.
My oh my!!! It has been years since my last update. So much has happened. . . .like. . . .um. . . .stuff. . . .yeah, lots of stuff has happened. The drunk came to visit me this weekend. We bought a recliner and I helped haul it into the house (I am sooo buff). We won the football game, thanks to me, the starting quarterback and defensive tackle (I also coach from time to time, but that's another story). Michael and I didn't do anything too interesting. I bought a chess set and we've been playing ever since. Monday wasn't too exciting. I had a "wonderful" aerospace class. The highlight of the day was going to the post office, and even though in was Columbus Day, I got the new Cosmo!!!!! Joy!!!! I can now read all the dirty stories!!!! Three cheers for soft core porn!!!! Mother would be so proud. . . .Oh, another good part of the day was that I didn't have my sociology class. I just showed up and turned in my test. It was wonderful. With all that free time I came how and did laundry, for the first time in over a month. Now all my clothes are clean, yippee!!! Michael and I chilled with one of the roomies. She seems nice, a lot better than the other, who uses my cookware and eats my food::grrrrrrr:: That's about all that happened this weekend. I will update on what happened today later. This post is just to satisfy the person who wanted me to get a blog in the first place. I love you, whoever that person is!!!!
